The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to continue their education by attending a university, college or vocational school.
The monies for these scholarships come from YOU, the chamber members! Every time you purchase raffle tickets at the monthly mixer all of the proceeds go to the Chamber’s scholarship fund. Thank You!

Since its inception in 2001, the Foundation has assisted ORHS and its students by raising and donating more than $1.5 million to a variety of educational needs. These needs include capital improvement projects, science & technology resources, music program equipment, teacher grants and student scholarships. Many of these projects were collaborative in nature and done in partnership with financial assistance from the school district and other groups like the Oak Ridge Sports Boosters. Where possible, donated funds were leveraged through volunteer efforts and matching funds were obtained from parents, corporations, foundations, alumni and other sources. The Foundation is proud of the fact that over 97% of the funds raised go directly to projects benefitting the students of Oak RIdge!!
"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give!"
The Oak Ridge High School Community Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public charity and, as such, donations are tax deductible pursuant to Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3).

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its participation in the 911 Cell Phone Bank.
Each week cell phone ads flood our newspapers and airwaves, encouraging us to upgrade to the newest technology. But what happens to all of the outdated equipment? Most of the estimated 140 million cell phones retired annually are stashed away somewhere, gathering dust. Unfortunately, many of these phones find their way to landfills where they leach hazardous materials into the surrounding environment.
The El Dorado Hills Chamber can help with the solution by participating in the 911 Cell Phone Bank. Used cell phones can now be recycled! We are asking individuals, businesses, and other organizations to donate cell phones to help.
To recycle your retired cell phones drop them off here:
El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce or California Welcome Center 2085 Vine Street, Suite 105, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.
