EDH Chamber Announces the Buckeye Education Foundation is the Charity Golf Tournament Non-Profit Recipient!

The Buckeye Education Foundation is a recognized 501(c)3 non-profit collaboration of parents, educators and community members focused on providing supplemental funding to the six elementary schools and two middle schools within the Buckeye Union School District in El Dorado County, California. The district-wide Foundation was formed in 2009 to address inadequate funding for schools at the state level.

The Foundation is 100% volunteer staffed. The generous donations of volunteer time and community giving allows the Foundation to meet its goal of helping the 4500 students in our Buckeye public schools receive the highest quality education possible.

El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce Partners with Envision to Offer FREE Prescription Savings Program

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is offering the Chamber Rx Saver Card to its membership and residents of El Dorado Hills , CA .The Rx Chamber Card is a prescription savings program administered by El Dorado Hills based Envision Pharmaceutical Services affiliate, Envision Medical Solutions (Envision) and is free of charge.The program offers prescription discounts on most all brand and generic medications at significant savings for those who do not have drug coverage or insurance by their employer or Medicare.The card may be used at over 60,000 pharmacies nationally and most all pharmacies in the greater El Dorado Hills community. We are pleased to be able to offer a special prescription savings program to both our membership and those who live in and around El Dorado Hills.With the economy in a recession, we believe this will assist many who have lost insurance coverage that includes prescription medications, said Debbie Manning , President of the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber Rx Saver Card can be found on the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce web site (www.eldoradohillschamber.org), the Chamber offices at 2085 Vine Street, Suite 105 , El Dorado Hills , CA and other public locations throughout the community. The web site includes the ability to print a card, check for pharmacy locations, and the cost of prescription medications.The card has no eligibility limitations or requirements, can be used by the entire family, and can be used immediately.The prescription savings card is not insurance. "We are pleased to be selected by the El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce to offer the free prescription savings card to the membership and community", said Kevin M. Nagle, President and CEO of Envision Pharmaceutical Services."We believe this program offers extraordinary value during this difficult economic time for many business and residents that reside in our community."

El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce Cell Phone Recycle Program

The El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its participation in the 911 Cell Phone Bank.

Each week cell phone ads flood our newspapers and airwaves, encouraging us to upgrade to the newest technology. But what happens to all of the outdated equipment? Most of the estimated 140 million cell phones retired annually are stashed away somewhere, gathering dust. Unfortunately, many of these phones find their way to landfills where they leach hazardous materials into the surrounding environment.

The El Dorado Hills Chamber can help with the solution by participating in the 911 Cell Phone Bank. Used cell phones can now be recycled! We are asking individuals, businesses, and other organizations to donate cell phones to help.
